Edmund Teye Mate-Kole is a dedicated Agribusiness and Value Chain Development Expert with over eight years of postgraduate experience focused on transforming smallholder farming through technology adoption, capacity building, and robust project management. His career bridges grassroots agricultural extension with strategic program oversight, driven by a commitment to sustainable rural development and food security.
Currently serving as the Manager, Project Impact and Learning at Agri-Impact Limited, Edmund holds a pivotal role in monitoring, evaluating, and coordinating the firm's diverse project portfolio. He has facilitated the mobilization of over 50,000 smallholders and designed and delivered capacity building programs for hundreds of Community Based Advisors (CBAs), Trainer of Trainers (ToTs), and FBO leaders, covering critical topics from Good Agronomic Practices and leadership to structured marketing and post-harvest management.
His expertise extends to serving as the Soybean Value Chain Coordinator and M&E focal point for the Mastercard Foundation's HAPPY Program, where he developed the program's logical framework and KPIs. He holds an MPhil in Mutation Breeding and Biotechnology from the University of Ghana and a BSc in Agriculture (Crop Science) from KNUST, complemented by a Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation Fundamentals from GIMPA.
