Nancy Anin grew up in the Asante Region as a deaf woman with limited educational and economic opportunities. An unplanned pregnancy during the COVID-19 pandemic compounded her challenges. When she joined the Rice Value Chain under the HAPPY Program via Agro Kings Limited, everything changed. She received training, a starter kit, and ongoing mentorship, and today runs her own rice processing unit, employing two other women from her community.
