Mr. Joseph Agyiri is an Agribusiness Development and Greenhouse Vegetable Production Expert. He has over 14 years’ intensive working experience in Greenhouse vegetable production working with farmers in developing vegetable value chain constraints mechanism, identifying productivity issues, postharvest and quality infrastructure systems for and specialty vegetables across West Africa
Mr. Agyiri had intensive training from ASNAPP Zambia and ASNAPP South Africa on greenhouse crop production and specialty fresh market vegetable crops and herbs. He is the lead Agronomist and serves as a trainer for AIC. He has trained lecturers from KNUST, Adidome and Asuanse Agriculture institutes, KITA under the SDF funded project.
He has been involved in several high value horticultural initiatives in Ghana and Liberia. He just successfully executed the sustainable collection of wild natural plant products and commercial cultivation of spices for the local and export markets, an ARD/USAID initiative.
Joseph holds an MSc. Environmental Science and a BSc. (Hons) Biological sciences from KNUST. He is currently the Project Development Manager as well as the production manager for Agri-impact consult on the West Africa Hydroponics project.
