SIPMA is market-led agricultural transformation programme funded by AGRA that sought to attract both public and private sector investment, build systems (seed/fertilizer, finance, and market) that improve access and drive sustainability in the maize and soy value chain.
The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) awarded Fresh Logistics (FL)/AIC a project support grant amount of $350,000 for the period of March 25, 2021, to March 24, 2022 (12 months) as part of the bigger project titled “Demand Creation for Impact Scaling (DeCIS) for Orange -Fleshed Sweet Potato (OFSP) value chain in in Volta, Greater Accra, Ashanti, and Central regions of Ghana to improve food nutrition & security and livelihoods.
ECoSIB sought to increase availability and accessibility of superior quality seeds to smallholder farmers through scaling up volume of breeder and foundation seeds and develop a cadre of seed business entrepreneurs with the requisite skills to engage in commercial production and distribution of superior quality seeds in Ghana.
