Agri-Impact was at the Ghana EXIM Bank's Tuesday market, a business fair organised once a month with a focus on promoting locally grown businesses. The initiative is one of the Bank’s ways of drumming home the ‘Eat Ghana and Grow Ghana’ campaign.

Responding to the need of creating job opportunity for the youth and reducing graduate unemployment in Ghana, Agri-impact has teamed up with the National Service Scheme to introduce the Youth Entrepreneurship and Skills Enhancement Program (YESEP).

The chief of staff from the office of the Okyehene led a delegation to visit the Youth in Greenhouse Enterprise Project (YUGEP) production site at Kyebi. This was to assist 20 beneficiaries to undertake their first harvest of 600kg of cucumbers, bell peppers, and tomatoes produced from five (5) greenhouses out of the ten (10) already installed at Asikam, near Kyebi. 

On 1st August 2020, His Majesty the Asantehene commissioned 10 greenhouse clusters at the KNUST campus. His Majesty was accompanied by the new Vice-Chancellor Professor Dickson.

The Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, on Saturday, August 1, 2020, commissioned the Youth in Greenhouse Enterprise Project – KNUST. The greenhouses sited on KNUST campus is funded by Ghana EXIM Bank and implemented by Agri-Impact Consult (AIC).

The Executive Council of the University of Cape Coast, headed by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Joseph Ghartey paid a visit to the cluster of Greenhouses constructed with funding from Ghana EXIM Bank under the project christened Youth in Greenhouse Enterprise program (YUGEP).

The leading greenhouse technology service provider in Ghana, Agri-impact Consult has responded to a call for support and donated items, both cash and in-kind amounting to twenty thousand Ghana cedis (GHS 20,000) to the Berekuso Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound in Berekuso.

The Berekuso Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound was supplied with the sum of GHC15,731.00 and sanitary materials, hand sanitizers, liquid soup, detergents, paper towels, toilet rolls.

The desire to make agriculture/agribusiness attractive to the Ghanaian youth has been given a major boost by Ghana Export-Import Bank (GEXIM) under the Youth in Greenhouse Enterprise Project (YUGEP). YUGEP seeks to boost the production of high-quality vegetables and create 400 direct and over 600 indirect jobs thus, reducing importation of vegetables, reducing unemployment, and contributing to stabilizing inflation.
