Drawing upon a wealth of expertise cultivated over 90 years in Africa, Agri-Impact Limited, in collaboration with Brac consultants, organised a pivotal 2-day training session at Kingston's esteemed Altamont Court Hotel from March 11th to 12th, 2024. This transformative endeavor aimed to empower participants with essential skills in organisational development and familiarize them with the innovative Business Capacity Development Toolkit, meticulously crafted by the Agri-Impact Consortium for the JSIF REDI 11 project.

Jamaica Training

Under the auspices of the Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF) and with the generous support of the World Bank Group, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining, and the Rural Agricultural Development Authority, this initiative symbolized a concerted effort to fortify Jamaica's agricultural landscape. The training attracted a diverse cohort of 40 participants, including JSIF Business Development Facilitators, Ministry staff, and representatives from the Rural Agriculture Development Authority (RADA), the Agro Investment Corporation (AIC), and other pertinent organisations. Guiding them through this transformative journey were esteemed consultants such as Dan Acquaye, Juliana Asante-Dartey, Abraham Sarfo, Larry S. Amekuse, Marcia Hextall, and Nana Nkansah M. Riverson.

The training program was meticulously crafted, comprising 12 comprehensive modules designed to address key areas of growth and development within agricultural enterprises. From governance and leadership to financial and operational management, from communication and outreach to succession planning and strategic visioning, each module served as a building block towards sustainable progress.
