Agri-Impact Secures KNUST Approval to Deliver Accredited Short Courses

Agri-Impact Limited has announced a partnership with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to deliver accredited short courses focused on equipping young people with practical skills for the job market.

Deputy CEO of Agri-Impact, Mrs. Juliana Asante-Dartey, disclosed the collaboration at the company’s Dinner and Awards Night, which climaxed the week-long Wrap-Up of the Young Agribusiness Professionals Program (YAPP).

Public and private sector firms have been urged to stop assigning national service personnel (NSPs) menial tasks and instead provide them with the skills, mentorship and hands-on training they need to contribute meaningfully to national development.

The Dan F. Acquaye Drone Innovation and Simulation Unit, located at the University’s E-Learning Centre, was unveiled during the opening ceremony of KNUST’s E-Learning Week 2025 on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

19 Young Women Trained in Soy and Rice Processing Under HAPPY Program

A group of 19 young women between the ages of 15 and 35 have completed a hands-on training in rice and soybean processing, equipping them with practical skills to launch value-added agribusinesses and secure dignified livelihoods.

The three-day training, organized by Newage Agric Solutions, a consortium partner under the Harnessing Agricultural Productivity and Prosperity for Youth (HAPPY) Program, took place in Akuse as part of ongoing efforts to promote youth employment and women’s empowerment through agricultural value addition.
