Mr. Emmanuel Boamah Okyere is an Agribusiness Development and Greenhouse Production and Training Expert with over 7 years’ postgraduate experience. He has over seven years’ experience managing Commercial Greenhouse facilities at Berekusu, Volta and Dawhenya growing and trading in specialty vegetables in Ghana. Mr. Emmanuel Boamah Okyere is the Commercial and Administrative Coordinator responsible for managing operations at the Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Training Institute (AETI) and Production Centre at Berekusu.
He also coordinates and leads all marketing efforts, inventory management, monitoring and evaluation, administration, production planning and providing technical backstopping (Pest and Disease management) for all Greenhouse Projects such as the Ghana Exim Youth in Greenhouse Enterprise project. Mr. Okyere manages inventory for the Berekusu Greenhouse and for the 100 Greenhouses under the YuGEP Project. As the Commercial and Administrative Coordinator he has coordinated a number of projects of which he is responsible for receiving market orders and developing production plans with teams to fulfil orders. Emmanuel is directly in charge of marketing and feeds clients request into the production system to ensure their satisfaction.
He manages a well-functioning distribution system that ensures produce are lifted from production site and delivered to clients across the country in real time and to even out supply when there is surplus at a production site. Emmanuel holds a BSc. (Hons) Geography and Rural Development from KNUST.
